The Band From TV Rocks The House!

We always hear about how self-absorbed Hollywood actors and actresses are so it’s extremely refreshing to see these Hollywood hunks take time out to play music with their pals for a good cause. They’re calledBand From TV, and they’re from some of your favorite shows.

The band includes TV favorites Greg Grunberg and Adrian Pasdar  from Heroes, James Denton the hunky Mike The Plumber from Desperate Housewives, Jesse Spencer and Hugh Laurie of House, Bob “The Bachelor” Guiney, Scott Grimes from American Dad and more!

One-hundred percent of the proceeds from their concerts will go to charities around the world, so not only do these guys look good, they do good by giving back!  Band From TV will be headlining a special charity fundraiser at Club Nokia LA Live on May 11th to benefit A Place Called Home.  A Place Called Home is a non-profit youth center in central LA that provides at-risk youth with a secure, positive family environment where they can regain hope and belief–free of the gangs, drugs and poverty that surround them.

Christopher “Kid” Reid of Kid N’ Play will emcee the evening’s battle of the bands, and celebrity judges include Kim Coles from Living Single, VJ Allison Hagendorf from Fuse Top 20 Countdown and The Bachelor‘s Bob Guiney.
