There is no shortage of basketball in L.A. this weekend with the Pac-10 Basketball Tournament Fan Fest at L.A. Live in Downtown this weekend. Plus, there are plenty of St. Patrick’s Day festivities, movies, charity events and much more all weekend long.

L.A. LIVE and the Pacific Life Pac-10 Tournament invite fans to join the fun and excitement in Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE and participate in the Pacific Life Pac-10 Basketball Tournament’s FREE Fan Fest taking place Wednesday, March 9th through Saturday, March 12th at 10AM. There will be pep rallies with Pac-10 bands, cheerleaders and mascots, an outdoor basketball court hosting friendly competitions with great prizes, face painting and sign making stations, a beer garden and more. Charlie Sheen Movie Fest in Downtown L.A.

Heal the Bay Fish Clean-up
This past Wednesday, an estimated 35 tons of sardines washed upon the Redondo Beach shore. If you have some time to help, check in at the old Red Onion site, just north of the Cheese Cake Factory, 655 N. Harbor Drive, Redondo Beach. There will be other volunteers there to direct you on how you can help from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Even a couple hours will make a tremendous difference. Water, food and sunscreen will be provided to volunteers. No experience or supplies are required — only enthusiasm.
