Must have been the Beatles’ classic, And I Love Her. We met Kenny Lattimore at Costco Burbank this past winter. He was super-nice!!! I recognized him immediately (thanks to The Wave’s online radio…I always give the song five stars!), and told him how much I loved his re-make…and how lovely his wife Chante Moore is. He was very humbled and sweet…thanked me & The Wave…I told him they always play his song. Oh, and boy is he cute!!!
P.S. Why isn’t my girl Sade on the list…or Simply Red for that matter???

I hear an instrumental song played and I’m looking for the name and artist. My friend said it’s called “Paper Moon” by Kenny G can you confirm this. Sorry I don’t have more information on this, the next time I hear this song will note date and time of day. Little clue it’s played on Debbie’s show. Help if you can. Thanks, Debbie (VIP MEMBER)

I have a question. About a week or 2 ago I heard a song in the afternoon on your station, they said it was Ricky by Dave Sandborn. I’ve looked at all the album list on amazon to order it but can’t find it. Can you tell me which album the song is on?

You’ve been playing a song w/a latin beat that I’m desperately trying to find out who’s the group & name of the song. The only part I can remember is “..or just forget about it”. I LOVE this song & want to purchase it but I don’t know who it is, the deejay never says their name. boo hoo

Elaine, the song is “Smooth” by Carlos Santana featuring Rob Thomas. If I’m not mistaken, Rob married the lovely Latina in the video
Hope this helped you.

I listen to you going to work and coming home. Would love to hear some of Will Sumner’s new “Tracks” CD. Any tune would be great as it is the best CD on the market today. Too bad that only his fans are aware of it.

The Wave is great music. It would be nice to hear more Anita Baker like fairytales, body & soul etc. We love the artist but so many of the same songs are played.

Please include Herb Alpert on your play list (we saw him last night on 60 Minutes–a repeat–wonderful sound), less of Seal (am tired of his moaning and depressing sound) and zero of Robin Thick (especially his vocals). When he throws his voice into the next higher octave it makes him sound phony–like he wants to be a girl and cannot be. Other than that things are fine and I enjoy The Wave over the Internet (can’t pick it up over the airwaves to San Diego). My best regards to all DJ’s and management.
