Teaming up with model Christy Turlington Burns, a variety of artists have recorded special tracks to contribute on a charity album benefiting the organization, Every Mother Counts, that will be sold exclusively through Starbucks.

The charity album features big name acts including Sade, Sting, Seal, Bono and the Edge, and Lauryn Hill among many others, and includes several previously unheard tracks all in an effort to bring awareness and support to reduce the “maternal mortality rate around the world.”

Now in her second year banding artists together for an Every Mother Counts charity album, model Christy Turnlington Burns hopes that music will help bring awareness to a major issue affecting mothers around the world.

“I generally wanted a diverse group of artists who were parents, or in the case of Edward Sharpe, who will be soon. We wanted to reach a broad audience on this issue with this particular project and with a range of perspectives,” Christy tells Rolling Stone.

The collection will be available at Starbucks stores from May 1 through May 29 in honor of Mother’s Day.
