Oscar winner Sally Field has been a part of our lives since she was a teenager the late 1960’s.

First on TV as “Gidget” and “The Flying Nun.” Then graduating to iconic films such as Steel Magnolias, Forrest Gump, Lincoln, and Norma Rae, for which she won her Oscar for Best Actress.

Her latest film is definitely on the other end of the perspective from portraying her recent role as Mary Todd Lincoln.

In Hello, My Name Is Doris, Sally plays a longtime office worker who has somehow survived the coming of technology in her data entry job. Sally is in her mid 60’s with a very creative imagination. When the handsome and much younger Max Greenfield arrives in the office, Sally promptly puts her sights on him.

Dressed in frumpy 1970’s (then hip) garb, Sally tries to woo Max by going to trendy nightclubs, concerts and all over NYC.

Is Sally really scoring with Max, or is it all just in her head? See Hello, My Name Is Doris for some great escapist entertainment. It’s the perfect 90 minutes to take yourself along to what may be only a fantasy, with one of our nation’s best actresses, Sally Field.
