Mon-Fri: 12PM-6PM

Deborah Howell has been traveling extensively with radio listeners of all stripes since the ’90s, hosting events and broadcasting live around the world. Deborah's been a staple on the airwaves on legendary stations in New York (Hot 97, Kiss FM, Sirius Satellite Radio, and CD 101.9 and on Tokyo FM) but got her start here in Los Angeles on Power 106 back in the day, and has been nominated and been the recipient of numerous journalism awards along the way.

In 2006, Deborah was tapped by the luxury home exchange company, Trade To Travel to be its Global Correspondent; visiting and writing about its homes and villas, while participating in the local cultures and cuisines.

Deborah recently completed two endurance events with Team in Training on behalf of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society—The Grand Canyon Hike and the Tinkerbell Half Marathon at Disneyland, and has participated in the “Best Buddies Challenge” 30-mile bike event for the past 4 years. She is the co-founder of the charity “Girlfriends 4 Girlfriends” benefiting women in need in the Los Angeles area, and is also active with International Medical Corps, The Red Cross, Seeing Eye Dogs of the West, The Salvation Army and St. Joseph’s Indian School.

Deborah owns her own recording studio, Topanga Studios, and is the voice behind numerous TV, Radio and Web campaigns including  Audi, JW Marriott, Grand Hyatt, Walgreens, Aruba Tourism, Canyon Ranch, Liberty Mutual, ABC TV,  PaperMate, The National Heart, Lungs and Blood Institute, Target, Shiseido and many more. Ms. Howell graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago and now loves living in Topanga Canyon with her husband and stepson. She adores golf, squash, tennis, skiing, Pilates, ping pong, para sailing and hiking; and is most gleeful when in an aisle seat, squash racquet and mic in hand, heading out with listeners to a jazz fest in Capetown or on the hunt in France for the creamiest polenta ever. She's delighted to be the host of The No-Stress Express on 94.7 The Wave for the past 11 years and the host of The SoCal Honda Sound Stage—a series of intimate, live performances of some of today’s finest performers including Bobby Brown, Al B Sure!, Brian Culbertson, Jon B, En Vogue, Brian McKnight and many more to come!
